Depart from the Red City. Journey through the High Atlas mountains. Arrive in M'Hamid El Ghizlane by evening. Night in a fixed desert camp.
M'Hamid to Sidi Naji. First immersion in the dunes. Learn the ways of the desert from your Berber guide. Night under the stars.
Head to Erg Zmila - a mass of soft dunes rising from the vastness. A sea of gold in the morning light. Trek through changing landscapes.
Reach Erg Zahar, known as "The Howling Dunes" for the mystical sound of the wind. Climb to the panoramic summit. Sunset will take your breath away.
Walk to Erg Smar - an ancient nomadic village site. Discover artifacts and learn about traditional desert life. Continue through diverse terrain.
A diverse stage through dunes and "regs" (stone plains). Reach Erg Aït Ounnir. The landscape is ever-changing.
Final full day in nature. Trek to the Douib dunes. Traditional evening around the campfire with music and stories.
Short morning trek back to M'Hamid. Final desert breakfast. Then vehicle transfer back to Marrakech. Arrival by evening.
